The 6BQ7A is a VHF double triode and it is internally screened and was used in RF amplification and in frequency multiplication.
The 6BQ7A replaced the 6BQ7 as it has around 12% higher gain characteristics.
These are all American made Jan specification 6BQ7A in the original government box and made in the early 1980's.
