Orange amplifiers provide the classic Britsh valve amp sound.Since 1968 Orange designs have been very effective as they do not clutter the signal path with gimmicks they simply build amplifiers that are correctly designed and made.

These specially chosen full Cryo revalve upgrade kits are designed to help you get the best out of your Orange. The Retro kits aim to provide that Mullard/ British Rock sound, Smooth warm crunch with rich harmonics and the classic Mullard 3d midrange tone with all the benefits of Cryo treatment.

Orange amplifiers are made without compromise, so we do not compromise on the valves. We do not use cheaper brands or valves from factories that provide inconsistant product. We select these valves and supply these in special sets for Orange Owners.
Orange OR50 Classic Retro Cryo full upgrade kit is designed to give your OR50 as close to the old Mullard tone with a crunchy more biting modern edge.

The Cryo treatment gives a permanent change to the valves performance. The additional benefits that Cryo brings to the valves performance is better clarity, larger and improved sound stage with increased definition under distortion. Better note separation and reduced mush. The cryo treated valves provide is a lasting and permanent improvement to you sound over the untreated items.

The Harma ECC83 Retro Cryo provides a harmonically rich and detailed sound with excellent 3D midrange warmth. This valve has a traditional British voiced sound that has a huge singing sustaining tone when overdriven. The outstanding feature of this valve is its smooth linear midrange response and extended frequency response so you get smooth warm overdrive with tight fat punchy lows.

The Harma EL34 Retro Cryo is based on the famous Mullard EL34 XF2 design and has a number of important features over standard EL34 types. The grids of the tube use a block construction this enables the valve to provide smoother output and eliminating odd order harmonics. The result is a tight bass response with a balanced sound stage and clean clear treble. Thicker glass not only adds strength but also provides lower microphonics.

The valves produce a clear articulation and smooth even distortion when the amplifier is cranked. The EL34 Retro have a little more top end aggression and so makes this ideal kit for any player who wants that Classic Orange sound with a little more bite.
