Z & I or Zaerix as many people know them by where a UK company that sourced valves from around the world.

Many items are from companies such as G.E Mullard, RFT as they did not make valves themselves. Many items are of high quality as they were a major supplier to the M.o.D and N.A.T.O . Most valves were supplied to government contacts from their London show rooms
The 6AS5 was an American designed valve for the audio output stage of car radios. The data sheets imply that it can provide up to 2.2 Watts in a single ended class A design.
I have only seen USA made items of this valve and these look like either RCA or Sylvania re branded Z & I of London. They come in the original boxes.
