In the early 1980s was Sylvania sold to Philips and the Philips ECG valves were produced in the Emporium plant until it closed

American Sylvania 6K6GT clear glass black anode plate .Later type with round ribbed anode and round top getter.

Sylvania was the original valve used by Fender along with the RCA in Fender Reverb units.

The Sylvania 6K6GT provides a very lush and clean sound which makes it excellent in Fender reverbs
