VIsseaux was a French maker of very high quality valves. 20 odd years ago when the 6V6GT and 6L6G came available from military surplus. These become very sought after particularly in the United States due to their sound quality.The Visseaux 6K6GT share the 6V6GT sonics.

The Visseaux 6K6GT type has a wonderfully clear even mids with more clarity than any other. The highs are punchy and clear. These are so good that in Japan many High end audio companies used these as an upgrade over the 6V6GT types.

The valve has a round anode which has the magic black coating. This gives a very even and crisp distortion.
