The Tung-sol reissue valves are produced by the Sovtek Corporation to high standards at their reflector plant. These are recreations of some of the most popular Audio and guitar valves and they also produce some original designs under the Tung Sol name such as the KT120. These valve are used by original equipment manufactures the work over for their sound quality and reliability.

The 6SN7GTB Tung sol re issue follows the American design of the 1950s Tung Sol but the reissue has been improved which has resulted in a fantastic sounding audio valve.

This is the GTB version is made with upgraded materials and close attention is paid to replicating the structure and performance with a solidly constructed anode plate.

The GTB was an uprated version of the GT and GTA, The GTB has and uprated anode dissipation of 5W (the GT is rated for 2.5W) and has a controlled heater warm up time which gives longer life.

The plates on the Tung sol reissue are supported with 4 metal support rods connecting the top and bottom to the mica. The valve also had a double supported solid ring getter. This results in the valve being very resilient to microphonics and vibration

I have found, as have many of our customers that this Tung-Sol reissue that offers the best sound quality of any modern made 6SN7 types made today and come close to the sound quality of the Original NOS American made 6SN7
