Electro Harmonix is the top end brand which is owned by the Sovtek corp. Many of these valve designs are new designs based on old classic items.
Electro Harmonix 6V6GT is a great sounding current production 6V6GT. This valve is also relabelled by Groove tubes as the 6V6GT-R and is the stock valve in all Fender amplifiers that use the 6V6GT.

Electro Harmonix design is based on the vintage RCA oval plate 6V6GT and has a number of premium features. EH Use thick mica spacers with metal springs to eliminate tube rattle and microphonics. It also features tri alloys for the plate material, precise grid alignment and a specially developed cathode coating with improved grid structure for increased power handling capabilities.

So not only will it handle the 475 plate volts in vintage Fender Deluxe but has the RCA style tone and break up. EH have made constant improvements to the manufacturing process and the result is that the 6V6GT Electro Harmonix offers the classic vintage 6V6GT break up characteristics which makes it one of the best sound modern 6V6GT types made today.
