Peavey 6505 Harma Classic 6L6GC Retro Full Revalve Kit is designed to give the hard rock player a warmer more aggressive tone with more of a cutting edge than our other kits for the 6505 head. This is the perfect combination for Classic to modern Rock.

The outstanding feature of the Harma ECC83 Retro is its smooth linear midrange response and clarity under overdriven conditions. So you get smooth warm singing overdrive with tight fat punchy lows. This has become our most popular pre amp valve for Peavey amplifiers.

The Harma 6L6GC Retro is a re issue of the famous Sylvania STR 387. It features the same anode plate design with internal bracing and has extra thick mica spacers with steel spacers which reduces vibrations, rattle and microphonics which is a problem with many modern 6L6GC.

Sound wise, the Harma 6L6GC Retro provides a clear extended treble response which is ideal for the modern high gain sound.

The 6L6GC Harma Retro is a lot more aggressiveI in overdriven mode and the valve has creamy touch sensitive response which makes this a good rock valve with a nice hard edge.
