The JJ factory was born out of the ashes of the former Tesla factory. They currently make a range of High quality valves based on some of Tesla most famous designs.
The JJ ECC83 MG has been specially designed to provide more clean headroom and give a more linear response. The valve also has a little less gain than the JJ ECC83s.

These combinations of design features results in more clean headroom and later break up. This makes this an ideal valve to provide more clarity and tame the gain in a high gain circuit. It is also ideal in giving you more clarity out of your traditionally voiced pre amp.

These features also make this an ideal audio valve and we feel whatever your application this will be a real winner.

We offer two options:
1) Factory tested from the JJ factory
2) Balanced -matched triode sections for Phase splitter, Audio & Tube microphones

All JJ Balanced preamp valves are Dynamically Drive tested under real working condition have passed the following tests:

Transconductance (gm) Drive Tested
Output Drive Tested
Noise 1 (signal to noise)
Noise 2 (Aural)
Microphonics Test 1(Ambient)
Microphonic Test 2 (Shock)
Cathode Test
Grid Leakage Test

If you want a matched pair then by ordering 2 of the balanced valves you will get a matched pair
