The JJ factory was born out of the ashes of the former Tesla factory. They currently make a range of High quality valves based on some of Tesla most famous designs.
The JJ ECC83S uses the anode construction pattern of the frame grid designed Telefunken ECC803S. Though it is not a frame grid valve this design has many advantages when used in guitar amplifiers. The solid internal rigid structure which is internally braced makes this valve very low in microphonics.

The JJ ECC83S has a nice rounded sound which when distorted is very musical with no harshness. This valve offers excellent performance in both Audio and guitar amplifier applications and is used by many top manufacturers across the world.

We offer three options:
1) Factory tested from the JJ factory
2) Balanced -matched triode sections for Phase splitter, Audio & Tube microphones
3) High gain- for early break up & quicker distortion

All JJ Balanced & High gain Premium preamp valves are Dynamically Drive tested under real working condition have passed the following tests:
