Jon Bailes is an expert designer in the electronic manufacturing industry.

Our valve revalve kits use only the highest grade new old stock valves and the best of the modern made valves. We have put these kits together to allow easy ordering for our studio customers.

Thermionic Culture the Phoenix HG15 upgrade kit consists of a set of 2 selected valves to provide the best sonic and audio performance from this legendary valve compressor. Many studio engineers have told us that this is best valve set up for this unit as the Mullard offers a classic vintage valve sound with a fatter midrange and exceptional clarity

We use a selected Mullard ECC85 with a gain selected and balanced Mullard ECC81 CV4024 in the output stage. This set offers the ultimate upgrade for this unit

This set consists of 2 valves

1 Specially Gain selected ECC85 Mullard
1 Specially Gain selected & balanced Mullard ECC81 CV4024
