Electro Harmonix is the top end brand which is owned by the Sovtek corp. Many of these valve designs are new designs based on old classic items.
The Electro Harmonix ECC81 12AT7 Gold pin is made in Russia and provides a rich a warm and well balanced sound. It is designed on the vintage long plate 17mm anode design but uses a 22mm glass envelope to help reduce microphonics.
