Thermionic Culture Ltd. was formed in England in 1998 by Vic Keary and Jon Bailes to manufacture state of the art valve studio equipment.
Vic Keary credentials are the best in the business as not only has he mixed, produced and engineered but also he designed the equipment that was used on countless hit records in his days at Lansdowne, Chalk Farm Studios & Chiswick Reach. Jon Bailes is an expert designer in the electronic manufacturing industry.
Our valve revalve kits use only the highest grade new old stock valves and the best of the modern made valves. We have put these kits together to allow easy ordering for our studio customers.

The ECC83/12AX7WA General Electric is a special USA made military grade valve that was made with the highest grade materials and with no compromise on selection or quality control. In the output stage we use a special quality General Electric military 5725W 6AS6W for its unique distortion characteristics.
The difference is in the distortion or enhancer valve and here we use a special quality General Electric military 5725W 6AS6W for its unique distortion characteristics. The GE item is what many professional customers have told us is the best valve sounding valve for this unit hence why we use it in all our Kits
This is still the only studio unit dedicated to just adding valve produced harmonic distortion to the sound. Audio professionals the world over have acknowledged the Culture Vulture as the best unit for adding a unique tube driven harmonic distortion. The Solo Vulture is the single channel version
