Siemens are a huge German owned manufacturer that has made and developed some of the worlds best vacuum tubes. Siemens first patented the x-ray tube On March 24, 1896. Siemens have made some of the best sounding audio valves that have become highly sought after for their sound and build quality.
Dual Mica Version

This is a special version designed to be vibration proof in demanding applications. The valve features a double supported getter with an extra mica plate fitted under the getter.

These Siemens 6AQ5W 6005 that were supplied to the military under the 6005 and CV1862 specification

These have the rare 3 rib round anode design with doudle getter support and extra mica located under the ring getter. Special quality 6AQ5W made for long life and vibration proof for military applications. The 6AQ5W is a special military version of the EL90 which is a small audio output beam tetrode valve capable of 4.5 Watts in a single ended configuration. Excellent performance which makes them an ideal choice for studio equipment.
