Siemens are a huge German owned manufacturer that has made and developed some of the worlds best vacuum tubes. Siemens first patented the x-ray tube On March 24, 1896. Siemens have made some of the best sounding audio valves that have become highly sought after for their sound and build quality.
USA Made

This Siemens 6AQ5 come to us from government sources and were supplied to the military under the 6005 and CV1862 specification.

These feature the rounded smooth black plate which was used by both RCA and Sylvania and has 6AQ5A on the glass so these were made in the USA. So my guess is that these were batch selected to the CV1862 spec.

The 6AQ5A is a upgrade version of the EL90 which is a small audio output beam tetrode valve capable of 4.5 Watts in a single ended configuration. Excellent performance which makes them an ideal choice for studio equipment. Items comes in the original Box
