The man behind Victory Amplifiers and head designer is Martin Kidd who is well known in British amplification circles as he was head designer at Cornford Amplifiers. The amplifier range offers meticulously hand-wired tag boards alongside printed circuit boards. The Classic 6L6GC GE re issue Groove Tube full upgrade kit is designed for those who want a bigger soundstage more clarity and slightly smoother top end response than with an EL34 will provide in this amplifier.

The Harma ECC83 Retro is a true sounding recreation of the famous Mullard ECC83.The outstanding feature of this valve is that when it is overdriven it provides a warm sustaining sound with plenty of upper harmonics with an excellent 3 dimensional midrange response.

The Groove Tubes 6L6GC-G.E Re has been chosen as this valve as it has the right balance of clarity and distortion when pushed hard. In clean mode, this valve provides a warm smooth sound with a very clean and open treble.

In overdriven mode the valve has an incredible dynamic range which provides the right balance in terms of clarity and crunch & dynamics when overdriven. This valve also produces a clear creamy sustain on solos. It also provides that thick powerful rhythm sounds on chords.

The Victory V130 provides all the vintage clean sounds through to classic modern rock. This is one of the best 6L6GC choices for this amplifier and it will suit the player who wants maximum versatility from his amplifier.
