One of the most famous American Valve manufactures of all time. RCA was responsible for designing and manufacturing many important valves such is the 6V6GT, 6L6GC, 7027a and the super EL84 known as 7189. RCA also pioneered many advances in manufacture such as the black plate coating and had a hand in helping GEC make the famous KT66.

RCA VT229

American made RCA 6SL7GT VT229 is a special quality version made for the US Army and Navy Avionics and where made with the highest quality materials.

These valves have the flat black vertical plate with 4 staple holes, bottom square getter with VT229 on the base.

The outstanding feature of the RCA VT229 flat plate is its top end clarity and mid band definition. These features have made it an audio gem. The RCA has superb balance across the audio spectrum. The valve is musical and will upgrade any high end audio and headphone amplifier.
