A Specially selected set of 8 matched in an identical octet of output valves for the Marshall VBA 400 bass head.

The Sovtek 6550WE is an ideal choice for use in high powered bass amps. This 6550WE is used by Ampeg and many other manufactures due the Sovtek 6550WE excellent sound quality and reliability.

Sovtek have made a number improved features such as thicker anode plates, improved heat dissipation of 42 watts, higher transconductance the 6550WE has greater headroom and superior sound.

The valve is noted for its deep bass and musical detail. The bass is rock solid and very well balanced. The top end is very smooth with no hardness.

They come vigorously tested and dual matched and this set is a specially selected set of 8 off 6550WE identically matched for use in the Marshall VBA 400 bass amps.
