The Original Genalex name was owned by the Marconi-Osram Valve Company with the Genalex in the name used in the U.S.A. The Gold Lion was a specially selected and factory tested version. The Sovtek Corporation has reintroduced these valves by producing a faithful reproduction of these classic valves made in Russia. These valves are factory selected and are close visual and sounding re makes of some of Gold Lions the best sounding valves.
The Gold Lion E88CC/6922 is a premium grade selected small signal twin-triode that is a premium replacement for all 6DJ8, ECC88, 6922, E88CC, and 7308 types. The reissue Gold Lion E88CC/6922 valve features solid internal supported anode structure which give low levels of microphonics and gold plated pins for superior conductivity.

The valve is manufactured and selected to extremely tight specifications which reflects in their excellent sound quality.

The Gold Lion 6922 has a warm and transparent treble response with excellent midrange detail. The supported structure also provides very low microphonics. The bass response is both clear and well defined and very musical. They exhibit a large detailed soundstage that is why they have become sought after by discerning audiophiles who demand the highest quality sound. These are overall one of the best 6922 types made today.

Gold plated pins for superior conductivity We offer these as a premium replacement for all 6DJ8, ECC88, 6922, E88CC, and 7308 types. Valves to be labelled Gold Lion have had to endure and pass the toughest inhouse testing that Gold Lion offers.
