Siemens are a huge German owned manufacturer that has made and developed some of the worlds best vacuum tubes. Siemens first patented the x-ray tube On March 24, 1896. Siemens have made some of the best sounding audio valves that have become highly sought after for their sound and build quality.

Siemens ECL86 was designed specifically for audio applications and the German item has proved to be one of the best audio ECL86 ever made.

The Siemens Company took the Mullard design and made a number of improvements. They paid particular attention to the sensitivity of the valve so the grid of the triode section will produce the maximum output power from the pentode section. Very tight manufacturing and quality control of the valves overall gain and amplification factor in the triode section and consistent output in the pentode section makes this valve the cream of the crop.

This will provide the best quality in audio and guitar amplifier application. The items all come in the original Siemens box.
