This is a special balanced version with matched triode sections available in matched pairs. For use in in critical positions in Tube compressors and driver stages in Audio amplifiers & Guitar amplifiers.
The RFT ECC82 was made in Germany and was rebranded and used by just about every manufacturer under their own brand. I have seen these branded Brimar, Telefunken, AEG and Siemens to name just a few.
The RFT was also re branded by Conrad Jonson and used in many of its top line audio preamplifiers.
The valve has a supreme openness and sound stage and offers high end audio performance. The character of the RFT is a tight bass with a well balanced midrange, the top end response is clean and detailed.
The RFT valve offers high quality performance that outperforms many expensive brands and is a first choice in many high grade audio sets ups. They offer an upgrade in audio sound over the modern made ECC82 types hence very popular in Hi end valve preamps.
We offer these in balanced matched pairs with balanced matched triode sections for use in high end applications
All Balanced preamp valves are Dynamically Drive tested under real working condition have passed the following tests:

RFT stands for Rundfunk- und Fernmelde-Technik - a group of state-owned technology companies in the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany). This company produced valves for Telefunken and Siemens and made the famous Siemens EL34. These valves are of very good quality and have excellent consistency.
