ECC81/CV4024 Radio Technique valve are the Mullard special quality CV4024 and were made by Mullard in the UK for Radio Technique to supply French Nato contracts.

These CV4024 have the famous double ribbed ladder plate anode structure and feature a large wide ribbed plates with special copper plate supports that suppress microphonics. They were supplied to NATO forces across the world and therefore used the highest quality components and underwent strict quality controls.

These ECC81 are a special quality valve that was specially designed to work in the most difficult operating conditions. This valve was specially designed for long life and be shock resistant up to 500g and with a high temperature rating. These are WA Ruggedised version with long stalk and ring getter

Hence Radio Technique ordered these from Mullard to supply specific Nato contracts.

They are simply made better; they last longer, have less noise and have conformity to the high specification design parameters.

These are exceptional Audio valves as you instantly get that classic Mullard sound. When used to drop the gain in a guitar amplifier or pedal you get that dynamic Mullard tone. Sonically the valves are warm and clean with excellent top end extension.

All the valves have the full RTC Radio Technique logo with 12AT7WA in white print. They also have 12AT7WA heat printed around the rim of the valve.

In Picture 2 we show the RT and the Mullard side by side so you can see this is the same Mullard item.

We offer one option:
1) Matched pair-matched triode sections for high end Audio & pre amplifiers.

All balanced and matched preamp valves are Dynamically Drive tested under real working condition and are matched on dB gain. They also have passed the following tests:
