The JJ factory was born out of the ashes of the former Tesla factory. They currently make a range of High quality valves based on some of Tesla most famous designs.
Special Matched Pair


JJ 6SL7GT follows the American design of the 1950s and as this valve is used in many vintage guitar applications they have cleverly made some excellent improvements to the valves design.

JJ have used a thick glass envelope with a solidly constructed anode plate. These plates are supported with a metal clasps which is supported by connecting the top and bottom to the mica. This results in the valve being very resilient to microphonics and vibration. This made it one of the best valves to use in your vintage Ampeg B15.

JJ have also managed to produce an audio sound that rivals the best sounding vintage 6SL7GT valves.

It maintains a superb linear response and clear and musical sound characteristics.
The other main improvement is the clear and defined bass response which has resulted in a beautiful sounding audio valve.

I have personally found these to be excellent in my own Ampeg B15 and can say that these JJ offer a sound that does rival the NOS RCA

We offer these in Specially Selected Balanced triode sections in matched pairs for Audio Phono stages, Phase splitters, Audio & Tube microphones.

These Balanced preamp valves are Dynamically Drive tested under real working condition and are matched on dB gain. They also have passed the following tests:
