The Dutch made Philips is considered by many engineers to the best of its type for applications such as tube microphone's as the valves offer great quality.

Indeed some engineers feel that the Philips and Mullard mesh plate are their go to valves as the valve provides are very accurate warm clear and transparent sound with incredible detail. They feel that these are very close in sound quality and detail to the Telefunken EF86

These EF86 Philips Dario are specially selected for low noise in pentode operation after undergoing a controlled in burn in process by us for the ultimate audio performance.
