Special Matched Pair

The Electro Harmonix 12AU7A ECC82 is based on the original American short plate design. The valve has internal anode supports and thick grade glass which makes it very low in microphonics. The valve has a clear and well balanced sound.

In musical terms, The Electro Harmonix offers far better sound quality than the Chinese production ECC82.

The 12AU7 Electro Harmonix is fully equivalent to the European ECC82 and can be used in any 12AU7 or ECC82 circuit.

We offer these in Specially Selected Balanced triode sections in matched pairs for Audio Phono stages.

These Balanced preamp valves are Dynamically Drive tested under real working condition and are matched on dB gain. They also have passed the following tests:
