Special Matched Pair

Matched triode sections for high end Audio & Headphone amplifiers

Very Limited Stock

General Electric 6CG7/6FQ7 is without doubt one of the best sounding valves of its type.

This valve was used as original specification by many high end audio companies such as Audio Research and Stax headphones due to the GE 6CG7 having the most balanced, clear and detailed sound.

The USA made 6CG7 General Electric has the classic GE sound stage which is big and open with the most a transparent top end out of any 6CG7. This valve is superb in Stax Headphones with many customer coming back for these over the years. These valves were also the first choice for Audio Research amplifiers

These GE 6CG7 were made in the USA and has the number etched into the glass and has the green GE lettering. The valves sound quality has made the GE highly sought after in both audio and for guitar amplifiers

Here is an email from Mr David Rhodes who bought the Cryo version.

" I've got the Stax Omega system which I've had about two years after the sound quality started to change slightly I thought the valves might need replacing so I looked on the internet and came across Watford Valves , when phoning Watford Valves I spoke to Derek and asked him which valve he recommended and he advised the 6CG7/6FQ7 General Electric Cryo valve ,

I received four of them the other day and I have to say they are simply amazing , they produced a more transparent and detailed sound that I didn't think was possible from the SRM 007. The valves I got from Watford Valves do make the SRM 007 produce a wonderful sound."

We offer these in balanced in matched pair only.
