The Electro Harmonix 12BH7A Gold pin is the top of the range and is factory selected for the most demanding applications.
The valve is selected and designed to be a direct replacement for American made 12BH7 and 12BH7A in used in high end audio. The 12BH7A was used by many American high end audio companies such as Conrad Johnson
Electro Harmonix 12BH7A Gold Pin uses the same size envelope of the original USA designs. The valve and features 22 mm glass envelope circumference and has a ladder plate design. To highlight the valves quality the valve comes with Gold Pins.
Sonically the valve has excellent clarity and provides a musical balanced sound across the audio range. The valve is strong in the midband with clear and well defined bass response.
This is an excellent modern production 12BH7A that gives the tonal response of the classic American made NOS 12BH7A.
We offer these in Specially Selected Balanced triode sections in matched pairs for Audio Phono stages.
These Balanced preamp valves are Dynamically Drive tested under real working condition and are matched on dB gain. They also have passed the following tests:
