One of the most famous American Valve manufactures of all time. RCA was responsible for designing and manufacturing many important valves such is the 6V6GT, 6L6GC, 7027a and the super EL84 known as 7189. RCA also pioneered many advances in manufacture such as the black plate coating and had a hand in helping GEC make the famous KT66.

Specially Tektronix Selected

Original RCA 5879 Special Tektronix selected items which are extremely rare nowadays.

There 5879 RCA pentodes were special selected and calibrated by Tektronix for use in their precision valve test and measurement equipment.

Each valve has the Tektronix label with individual serial number. The 5879 RCA was made in the U.S.A and provides superb audio performance and it does not get better that theTektronix calibrated items.
