Reflector Corp, Saratov: The Reflector Corp based in Saratov in Russia made some of the best Russian military types. Reflector has built large thyratrons as well as signal valves with most of its production going to the Russian government. All items are original Military sourced items and therefore offer superb build and sound quality.
Original 6N1P VI

The Reflector 6N1P VI aka Russian 6H1П-BИ is a special long life, low noise selected version of the 6N1P. The valve was designed for military application and had a life expectancy of 5000 hours.

The VI Version has a number desirable improvement over the standard 6N1P and the 6NIP EB & EV versions.

*1- The 6N1P VI was designed to handle high current switching and rapid transitions better than the standard or EV versions.
*2- Increased mechanical strength and reliability, specifically designed to resist vibration and microphonics.
*3- The 6N1P VI has Gold Grids which improves audio performance.
*4- The 6N1P VI was designed for very low distortion & Long Life
*5- The 6N1P VI has 50% less noise than a standard 6N1P type

The 6N1P VI has a larger cathode than E88CC and 6922 types which results in longer life and more transient current capability.

Due to the valves excellent performance and being an real Audio bargain many customers have used these to replace E88CC 6922 types in their equipment. When replacing a 6DJ8, ECC88, E88CC and 6922 types with a 6N1P VI you will need to consult the manufacture to ensure your equipment can take the upgrade.

The differences is the 6N1P VI has a filament current of 0.55 Amps and ECC88, E88CC & 6922 types have a filament current of 0.36 Amps. If you amp can take this valve then it is an Audio bargain.

These are a simply fantastic sounding valves which is why many Audio manufactures are using this valve in their equipment.

The 6N1P VI being the stand out version and offers sound quality way in excess of its low price.
