Electro Harmonix is the top end brand which is owned by the Sovtek corp. Many of these valve designs are new designs based on old classic items.
Special Matched Pair

The 6SN7GT Electro Harmonix follows the American ladder plate design of the 1960s.

Electro Harmonix have used the classic ladder plate design and tweaked the features.
It uses 4 metal support rods connecting the top and bottom to the mica. The valve also had a double supported solid ring getter. This results in the valve being very resilient to microphonics and vibration

The Electro Harmonix has become our most popular 6SN7 type and the main reason for this is that it let's you enjoy the music.

As with all Electro harmonix valves this 6SN7GT has a super tight and well extended bass. The bass end has all the speed and clarity of the expensive NOS 6SN7GT.

The midrange, which is the key area for most Audio users, The EH has a very neutral balance it is clear and concise. It is not as overblown as some of the classic vintage types but it provides plenty detail.

The top end response is what really separates the original USA made 6SN7GT from the pack.

It is here where most modern 6SN7 types fall down with the majority of 6SN7 introducing a graininess and hardness to the sound.

This is not the case for the EH whist it does not have all the definition of the original USA types. It offers excellent clarity dynamics in this department.

Which is why no doubt this has become our most popular 6SN7GT Type

We offer these in specially matched pairs with balanced triode sections in matched pairs for Audio Phono stages and high end Audio
